lyrics
The lips are constantly moving, as expected there is nothing doing
Pin drops, emotions shatter and commence now, good luck trying to bite the spiteful tongue
The constant making of endless lists grows, this item will not remain uncrossed
Still digging deep to take what has been lost
The fate, the sign
The weight on the heart and mind
The test, the load (Reaching back, Can’t stop now)
Can’t take the high road
There are blue veins surfacing, scrambling, twitching and heart beating fast
High pitched screaming reaches a breaking point, happy dreams of attainable vengeance
Tightly clenched fists, pissed, and exploding, making it’s home on brittle virgin faces
First impulses rage through the brain, don’t refrain just go insane
Release the demon, the palms sweaty
The juicy target looks bigger and attainable
The need for reconcilement has been tossed
Still digging deep to take what has been lost
CHORUS/ Whoa x4/ CHORUS
REACHING BACK! CAN’T STOP, CAN’T STOP IT NOW
My all time favourite band. They stick to a simple formula their whole career and have mastered it in such an un parralelled fashion.
Awesome people when I met them in Newcastle, Australia in 2010 as well.
All hail the punk kings deehall666
This album is AZip's best since Andiamo, maybe even A Passage In Time. And that's a high bar for a band that couldn't put out a bad studio album if they tried. There's hints of every previous album. Even fans who think the band went downhill after Passage should like this one. Mark Hammond
A very solid and sing-a-long worthy album made by an extremely underrated punk rock band. This album brings back vibes of 90s melodic skatepunk in the vein of No Use for A Name and Strung Out. I strongly recommend buying this album if you are a fan of that style of punk. Frank Fratto
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
Texas band draft an all-killer, no-filler love letter to ’70s hard rock and metal, with surging vocals and riffs that command respect. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 4, 2024
